Our Story...
Our story initially began a little unromantically “online”, however after communicating with each other online and via text for a few months we decided to meet.
Our first date came about from our mutual love of markets food. We both have a weakness for German Sausage, Churros & Mexican etc. Louise frequented the Caloundra markets with her best friend Alyce or Sister Rebecca regularly & Chris was living at Kings Beach where he was a short stroll from the markets, so the decision was easy the make this the place of our first date.
On Sunday 20th November 2011 we met in the morning at the markets and spent quite some time just strolling up and down the street and chatting away. We went for a walk down to the water and sat overlooking Bulcock Beach just talking and talking. We were getting along so well and really having a good time. Hours had passed and I don’t think either of us were wanting to end the date so Chris suggested getting a drink and playing some pool at the CBX.
Whilst at the CBX playing pool the UFC was playing on the TV. We thought it would be a bit of competition to each pick a fighter and see who’s won. We both have a love for music and whilst talking on our date we established that one of our favourite bands was playing the following Friday night at Kings Beach Tavern. Chris proposed that if his fighter won the next round Louise would take him to see British India and if Louise’s fighter won Chris would take her to see British India. Louise said, so in a nutshell we're going to see British India on Friday. Chris said yes and we both smiled.
We both had such a good time, our first date lasted about 6 hours and was the start of an amazing relationship.
