Paper Plane
now that winter's here
you can put aside all your summer fears
now the rain has come
you don't have a chance of getting burned by the sun
birds flying north from the winter cold
are leaving you to fold
your life into a paper plane
had your fill of winter chills
your heart is frozen still
you're not gonna take a chance again
as the mist rolls in
you can't see how life is gonna start again
by the firelight
you wonder if you're ever gonna get it right
last year you fell in love with life itself
that girl was something else
she rolled you up and sucked you in
but time and tide they took you for a ride
the revolution died
now you are longing for the spring
